360 degree of development

As Nasa is planning to send humans on Mars by 2030, its researchers back on the Earth are experimenting with astronauts for whom readapting to gravity and walking through the obstacle course after a deep space travel will not be an easy task.
Jacob Bloomberg, senior research scientist at Nasa, and his team are analysing the balance control disturbances caused by gravity transitions.
They recently evaluated participants who had undergone body unloading, or not carrying one's own weight, after returning from space shuttle missions, space station expeditions or from bed rest studies of up to 70 days.
To test just how much body unloading affects balance and stability, Bloomberg has developed theFunctional Task Test (FTT).
It identifies mission critical tasks that may impact astronauts' movement and performance immediately after gravity transitions. The FTT consists of seven functional and physiological tests.
"These tests are very operation-oriented and are related to different aspects of the mission and activities an astronaut would need to do after landing on the surface of Mars," Bloomberg said in a statement.
With balance control impairment comes hand-eye coordination problems, loss of postural stability or steadiness, and vision and perception issues.
Motion sickness is often a problem as well.
After landing, these impairments can make it difficult for crew members to begin necessary operations, such as walking from their landing craft to their habitat.
At the conclusion of the bed rest study, subjects were asked to perform the FTT.
Researchers found FTT functions that involved postural stability were the most difficult for participants.
"These results help us understand that astronauts, without countermeasures or balance training, may have difficulty maintaining balance control when landing on Mars, which has 62 percent lower gravity than Earth," Bloomberg noted.
The team is studying a countermeasure approach for balance control problems after landing.
The counter-measures are done pre-flight and during flight, and the goal of this training is to help "train the brain to become more adaptable," Bloomberg pointed out.
Astronauts returning to the Earth after living aboard the International Space Station (ISS) have exhibited balance control problems, muscle weakness and cardiovascular deconditioning.
FTT also has benefits on the Earth. These tests can benefit the elderly who often have challenges standing or walking after being in bed for a few days, by improving their balance control and stability.
As Nasa unlocks the key to balance training, astronauts will be able to land on Mars and stand and walk through their obstacle course with greater ease, the scientists noted.

Respect Women...Respect Humanity...

Violence against women (VAW) is, collectively, violent acts that are primarily or exclusively committed against women. Sometimes considered a hate crime, this type of violence targets a specific group with the victim's gender as a primary motive. This type of violence is gender-based, meaning that the acts of violence are committed against women expressly because they are women. The UN Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women states that:
"violence against women is a manifestation of historically unequal power relations between men and women" and that "violence against women is one of the crucial social mechanisms by which women are forced into a subordinate position compared with men."
Kofi AnnanSecretary-General of the United Nations, declared in a 2006 report posted on the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) website that:
Violence against women and girls is a problem of pandemic proportions. At least one out of every three women around the world has been beaten, coerced into sex, or otherwise abused in her lifetime with the abuser usually someone known to her.
Violence against women can fit into several broad categories. These include violence carried out by ‘individuals’ as well as ‘states.’ Some of the forms of violence perpetrated by individuals are rapedomestic violencesexual harassment; coercive use of contraceptives; female infanticideprenatal sex selection; obstetric violence and mob violence; as well as harmful customary or traditional practices such as honor killingsdowry violencefemale genital mutilationmarriage by abduction and forced marriage. Some forms of violence are perpetrated or condoned by the state such as war rapesexual violence and sexual slavery during conflict; forced sterilizationforced abortion; violence by the police and authoritative personnel; stoning and flogging. Many forms of VAW, such as trafficking in women and forced prostitution are often perpetrated by organized criminal networks.
The World Health Organization (WHO), in its research on VAW, categorized it as occurring through five stages of the life cycle:
 “1) pre-birth, 2) infancy, 3) girlhood, 4) adolescence and adulthood and 5) elderly”
In recent years, there has been a trend of approaching VAW at an international level, through instruments such as conventions; or, in the European Union, through directives, such as the directive against sexual harassment, and the directive against human trafficking.
Thus, it is our duty to stop this menace from the society and maintain peace in the society...

Pressure

If you are born in the same country I am born in, i.e. India, you'll know you'll get scolded for even reading this article by your parents. Parents in India put a lot of pressure on their kids and it is not their fault.

It is the education system's fault.

The education system in India is designed to pressurize a child. If you've seen the Oscar winning film Whiplash, you'll know the pros and cons of such pressure. The central theme of the movie deals with the fact as to whether a person does better when under pressure or when he is not under pressure. The main antagonist-turn-protagonist of the movie played by J.K. Simmons says, "Charlie became bird because Jo Jones threw a cymbal at his head." Which basically means, since Jo Jones disrespected Charlie, he practiced and practiced to become who he is - the famous drummer Bird.
But what this guy and the educationists of this nation don't understand is that not everyone is Charlie. Not everyone can fly.
From the moment we enter the first grade, we get to know about our class 10 exams. I still remember when I was young and saw some 10th graders, I'd be horrified.

You see, in our class 10 exams, we sort of, become men from boys by giving our first national exams, called the board exams.
Of course this exam has no significance in our lives. It is no SAT or placement exam, it is just a... I have no description for it.
All this does is pressurizes a person and strips them of their self confidence incase they do not do well. This exam is a cornucopia of awkwardness.
Take this example:

Suppose your child has an inherent talent as an artist. He is destined to be the next Pablo Picasso. Then obviously he lacks talent in science or remembering details in history. But due to this board exam, he has to hone these skills. Not because he wants to, but because he HAS to. And in doing so, obviously, he will fail. Maybe he will get a 88%. But most people consider anything below 90% is considered, "retarded". He is incessantly asked by his peers as to how much he got in his board and obviously, each time, his confidence gets chipped away.

How does this pressure help? If you ask me, it just puts a burden on our abilities.

If you want to know the reason behind the rising number of suicide rates in India, this, is it.

In conclusion I'd like to add that yes, tests are good. They are important but emphasis on tests is poisonous. A person's capabilities cannot be measured by these tests.

SauraDEFY signing out. Stay awesome.

Nepal crouches to the power of nature...

The April 2015 Nepal earthquake (also known as the Gorkha earthquake)  killed more than 8,000 people and injured more than 19,000. It occurred at  on 25 April, with a magnitude of 7.8 or 8.1M and a maximum Mercalli Intensity of VIII (Severe). Its epicentre was the village of Barpak, Gorkha district, and its hypocenter was at a depth of approximately 15 km (9.3 mi). It was the worst natural disaster to strike Nepal since the 1934 Nepal–Bihar earthquake.
The earthquake triggered an avalanche on Mount Everest, killing at least 19 making it the deadliest day on the mountain in history. It triggered another huge avalanche in the Langtang valley, where 250 were reported missing.
Hundreds of thousands of people were made homeless with entire villages flattened, across many districts of the country. Centuries-old buildings were destroyed at UNESCO World Heritage sites in the Kathmandu Valley, including some at the Kathmandu Durbar Square, the Patan Durbar Square and the Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Geophysicists and other experts had warned for decades that Nepal was vulnerable to a deadly earthquake, particularly because of its geology, urbanization, and architecture.

Continued aftershocks occurred throughout Nepal within 15–20 minute intervals, with one shock reaching a magnitude of 6.7 on 26 April at  NST . The country also had a continued risk of landslides.

A second major earthquake occurred on 12 May 2015 at  with a moment magnitude (Mw)  of 7.3. Mw. The epicentre was near the Chinese border between the capital of Kathmandu and Mt. Everest. More than 125 people were killed and more than 2,500 were injured by this aftershock.

Shame...Shame...Shame

Shame on Europe. Distribute it as much as possible throughout the world.

World SHAME ... keep sending the list to the world press ... tell your friends.
Shame on Denmark! The sea was red, but not because of some climatic or environmental changes ...
And because of human cruelty (civilized human) who kill hundreds of the famous and intelligent dolphins Kalderonskie (Grinds) !!
And it happens every year in the Faroe Islands in Denmark. The main participants of this slaughter - young teens. WHY? In this way they want to prove that they are adults and "cool" !!!! BULLSHIT !!!
This large "festival" is all done for fun. Each in its own way takes part in it: killing, or just watching the brutal carnage and supporting him.
I must say that Kalderonskie Dolphins (Grinda), as well as many other species of dolphins, have well-developed instincts, not afraid of people fend for themselves, play and interact with them.
During this brutal bloody massacre poor animals do not die immediately, they are cut 1, 2 or 3 times with thick hooks sharp. At the same time the dolphins produce a grim cry, extremely compatible with the cry of a newborn baby!
They suffer in terrible agony of such attacks, and no compassion these accidents, it is absolutely harmless beings slowly die in his own blood ...
Pretty !!!
We will send this message as long as it does not reach any animal welfare.
We will not only read it, like passive viewer of this outrage.
PLEASE demonstrate their protest and disgust at your accessible form and forward this information to all those you know ...
Friends, do not be loyal! Only the people can change the world ... one is a warrior, but when we are together, we are the real power.

Fact about diamonds...

The diamond is hardest natural rock on earth. This does not mean that it’s unbreakable or cannot be reduced in size. Diamonds can be reduced to simply nothing at very high temperatures. When a diamond is placed in a microwave and the temperature raised to 1405 degrees Fahrenheit or seven hundred and sixty three degrees Celsius it will simply disappear into thin air. Nothing will remain in the microwave but just carbon dioxide that has been produced in the process.rnrnDiamonds take a long time to be formed. They are formed within the earth’s crust for a period of over a billion years. It is formed at about 150 kilometers within the earth’s crust. They are then pushed to the surface of the earth by volcanoes. Diamonds are found within a volcanic rock that is commonly referred to as Kimberlite. Other diamonds can be found in the sea after they have been pushed there by the rivers.rnrnThe diamond boasts of being 58 times harder than the second hardest mineral on earth which is the corundum which forms sapphires and rubies. People tried for many ways to cut the diamond using different tools to later discover that the only way that one can be able to cut the rock is by using another diamond. However, diamonds are brittle and will shatter when they are hit hard with a hammer.rnrnThe largest diamond in the world is the Cullian. This rock was found in South Africa. When uncut, the rock weighed and amazing 3000 carats. It was later cut into the great star of Africa, lesser star of Africa and other diamonds. The cut diamonds weighed 530.2, 317.4 and 104 carats respectively. The smaller diamonds now form part of the crown jewels of the British. The Cullian boasts of being three times bigger than the second largest diamond in the world. The second largest diamond is known as the Excelsior. This rock was also found in South Africa. The largest polished diamond that was documented was the Unamed brown. The rock weighed 545 carats. It was cut down from a 700 carat rock. The masterpiece took three years to complete. Another diamond that took a similar length of time to complete is the centenary diamond that forms part of the British crown jewels. The centenary diamond boasts of being the largest flawless diamond and weighs 273.85 carats.rnrnIt is a common assumption that all diamonds are white. This is not the case. Impurities give the diamonds a blue, orange, red, yellow, green or black shade. The rarest shade of diamonds would be the vivid blue, pink or green diamond.
The diamonds do not bare the tag of being the rarest diamonds. The rarest mineral would be the red ruby. Diamonds are very common and can be found in plenty. Most of the diamonds that are mined cannot be used for jewelry. They are used to make cheap rings or in industries.rnrnThere has also been the development of synthetic diamonds. They can be made by mixing lithium with paraffin and bone oil and then the mixture heated till its red hot in iron tubes. The scientists that came up with this process went by the name James Ballatyne Hannay. In our today world diamonds can also be made by crystallizing carbon under pressure. The business of selling synthesized diamonds is very big today. This is because the diamonds sell for less than the mined diamonds. One cannot even tell apart the mined diamonds from the synthetic diamonds. This also applies to the so called diamond experts.rnDiamonds are weighed differently from gold. The gold carat shows purity. One carat of diamond is 200 milligrams. This applies to both mined and synthetic diamonds. The term carat was derived from the carob bean. The beans were used by gem dealers to balance their scales as they would have the same weight.rnrnMany might wonder what led to people wearing diamonds on their fourth finger. This custom was derived from the ancient Egyptians. They believed that the vein of love ran through the fourth finger and went straight to the heart.rnrnThe mineral was given this name due to its characteristic of being hard. It came from the Greek word adamas. This word means unconquerable.rnWhen one mentions the word diamonds, the famous slogan, a diamond is forever, comes into mind. This slogan was created in the year 1947. It was a slogan that was used as a marketing strategy for diamond. The slogan was also voted as the best slogan in the 20th century.rnrnToday diamonds are commonly used as engagement rings. This tradition was started by Archduke Maximillian who gave a ring to Mary of Burgundy. Then N.W Ayer was able to take advantage of this act and through clever marketing he was able to turn this gesture into a modern tradition. His marketing strategy was so clever that it’s still used to date to market the rocks.rn

Born to lead!!!

We desire a world of people with good leadership capabilities and a leader who can be respected by us in future. Respect has to be earned by people it is not a lollipop that will be available for 10 cents. People work hard and gather experience from the world to excel in life.
Some people are born leaders with extremely good leadership capabilities which is with no one. All want to be leaders of something or the other like on the aspects of business, job, sports and even the entire nation. We can show leaders by showing our capabilities in a particular aspect. Thus,we humans can only be successful if we are led by a good and worthy leader. Then only humans can be a wonderful and the most successful species all across the universe. So just keep cool and support awesomeness to be a leader.
Remember your luck may be bad but there is hope to achieve every possible landmark.

Dream tech!!!

Technology a thing which is admired by all in this world. We should dream about the advancing technology growing like a caterpillar in this world ,which is going in the pupa stage to become a fully grown butterfly. The time has come when people take a lead role in development of technology. We can create a flying suit or a discover a new element which can change the entire lookout of the country. All that we need is awesomness and brains to cope up and fully develop the technology.

It is to us where we humans can fulfil our position in this universe and explore this galaxy for recruitment of human beings to other planets. Thus humans increase their power as a whole by increased technological advancements. We can create things not known by anybody we can be invinsible and can prosper. We can do everything...there is hope.
SO DREAM TECH PEOPLE...!!!

MONEY RULES THE EARTH!!!!!!!

Riches Dwellings

All across the world the richer sections of the society is supported. The upper sections of the society doesn't even care of the minorities of this world. I gotta say that the humanity in this world has been wiped off. There are very few generous and kind people who are still fighting for the weak.
Resources all over the world are the gifts of nature which are available to serve the entire mankind it is not only for the economically rich......the poor should also have access to the resources...
The over exploitation of resources by the rich has resulted in:-
1. Division in the society between rich and the poor.
2. Environmental pollution.
3. Lesser availability of resources for the future generation.

If this is not thought off by the govt. then it will result in the end of the human era.... More of earth saving summits should be organised by the UN and sustainable development should be followed so that the future gen can get use the resources.

NUCLEAR TERROR

NUCLEAR WEAPONS

NUCLEAR WEAPONS are those weapons which are created by fission or combination of fission and fusion. These weapons can be as dangerous as 200000 TNT's. The weapons are extremely devastating and can destroy the entire earth. The most deadly of the nuclear weapons are the radioactive  ones, they not only do the work of normal chemical nuclear reactions but also affects the places near the explosions....this creates a deadly zone where life is not possible. Countries all across the world are producing new nuclear weapons for their own defense and for increasing their power boundaries. This has resulted in the danger of the mother earth.

MISUSE OF POWER

Countries all around the world are making new nuclear weapons not only for their defense but also for attacking other countries for gaining power so that the nation could be a superpower. There is an excess making of these weapons which has created tensions among the people all around the world. The struggle for power and for land has resulted in tensions among countries, only a trigger is needed to deploy a new WORLD WAR. Countries try their best to repel the war but when it exceeds the limitations then the problems start. Wars are still prevalent in west Asian countries and is taking a deadly shape. We human beings cannot live in piece and harmony until and unless these strains, superstitions, backwardness and most important wars continue. Though there are campaigns are done for peace but its not enough. Moreover many countries have even banned these campaigns. Thus it is important for the governments and dictators to understand that if a nuclear war triggers then it can even result in the shadowing deaths of many innocents and why not say the entire human race will be wiped off. Thus limited productions of nuclear weapons should be adopted and it should be used very less and only for defense purposes. There is still time, we can save mother earth from the tensions of human wars. According to Gandhi"There is enough for everyone but, nothing for the greedy" which meant that in this pure earth the greedy and selfish people shall not be supported but the innocent people should prosper.

PEACE PROMOTION

It's time we stand up against the wrong doings across this world. Human beings are social animals thus its not worth fighting among each other on the grounds of religion and class. The things we are doing for the hunger of power is absolutely irrelevant. Power hungry nations are absolutely blind of the consequences of tensions among countries, they don't realize the effects of war in the world.War is last thing a country is expecting to encounter, this would not only create a state of depression in and around the territory but also result in bloodshed and economic drainage. Thus, wars only bring loss. Nowadays terrorist associations have been formed which drain the blood of millions of innocent people for their god.For them war, blood, loss of livelihood doesn't matter they just want whip off the peace of the world for their own deeds of spreading violence for converting the religion of the mass. This concept is bullshit, according to me no religion can earn you peace ,it can only be achieved by the change in the mindset of the people of the world. If we all stand against this madness of bloodshed we can not only save the life many innocents but also protect the earth from getting destroyed. Blaming any religion is not right for us, it is only the associations related to this menace which has made such disgusting, irritating and backward rules that has resulted in the loss we had received till now.NO MORE VIOLENCE WILL BE ALLOWED WE RAISE OUR VOICE NOT ONLY FOR THE MILLIONS WHO HAVE LOST THEIR LIVES IN UNWANTED BATTLES BUT FOR THE ENTIRE HUMAN RACE TO LOOK FORWARD FOR A BETTER AND A PEACEFUL LIFE...

EARTH IN DANGER!!!!

Human population in this planet is much more than any other mammals in this world. MARS is one of the only planets we have made contact though drones, satellites and other spacecrafts. The results prove that there was life on that planet with water streams and methane deposits in the planet. Scientists believe that the destruction of the planet was caused due to a specific species or a parasite as because the streams through which water flowed still are very much prominent thus it was not only the physical activities that made life impossible there it was also the fault of a biological pathogen that created this depressions in this planet. In Mars the CO2 content in the atmosphere is more than 90% this may also prove that increase of utilization of resources or a radioactive element has resulted in the death of the species of the planet. The same may happen with Earth if we HUMANS carry on with our selfish ways like this, utilization of radioactive elements to create energy and continuation of making nuclear weapons can result in the end of life on EARTH. Already the planet is in a bad shape as millions of species get extinct everyday which we are not even aware of. Thus, the clock is ticking and the time will come soon when our race finishes, if we continue on the path of having power in this world and not thinking of the EARTH together as one race and be UNITED AND THINK TO SAVE MOTHER EARTH.
